This is one of those obit notices that would seem to fit quite comfortably in this thread (still on the front page yet). Along with an explanation of who Allan Holdsworth was.

Saw him with UK at Kingfish in BR in 1978..

Yep-Can't believe I got to see him in that venue. I caught him again with Al DiMeola in San Antonio 2 years ago. One of the few drummers I don't mind hearing a drum solo from..

Saw the Sex Pistols and the Ramones twice at the Kingfish and also Lou Reed, Albert King, and my memory fades on other acts.
