4 Track Recorder

I'm looking to buy one, but wanted some opinions.
In the 80's I had a Tascam cassette 4 track recorder, but that's long gone.
Looking for something in the $200 or under range.

Garageband for iPad is my 4track recorder these days.

I may still have a Tascam 4 track in my office. The Firepod was the best thing that ever happened to me.
Honestly, if you have a computer with enough gumption, a digital interface can be had for under $200 and you will end up with a whole lot more versatility. I love sitting at my computer, opening Ableton and just going effect by effect and playing something that sounds cool with that effect.

I'll check at my house tonight to see if that old Tascam is still floating around. It's funny finding old cassettes laying around. I was really bad about labeling and it results in some rather unusual listening experiences.
