Wifey won 2 tix in section 105 from Gambit Weekly.

my favorite part of the 2008 show was sitting in the top section of the arena and watching people who didn't have floor seats jump the railing to get on the floor whilst out-running fat and slow arena security. Kept me entertained before the show even began.

The new album is easily their best since Evolver. They always put on a great show and 311 Day is next level. Looking forward to all the extras they pull out for 311 Day and I'm glad I didn't have to travel to Vegas again, it belongs in New Orleans.

Same here, but still excited to go. I stumbled upon a free ticket in the club section yesterday.

Saw them at HOB last year, was a great show.

However, I am a little nervouse about 60+ songs tonite...

I second that!!! I admit I really dug them back in high school, but haven't liked anything past the blue album. Even the blue album started the downslide. Just got free tix, so me and a old high school buddy will be there!

Mid-90's they were a great live show, but I am scared of anything new.

I hate to be that guy, but I am that guy!!!!!

Guys stopping at the self titled album baffles me.

Transistor(my fav) Soundsystem and From Chaos were good records.

I only noticed a drop off after From Chaos personally.

See yall at the show. Section 203

I thought the show to be terrible.

Left at 11:15.

It definitely got better as the night went on. I left at about 12:15 cause I had to get up early. $60 ticket... I felt I got my money's worth. Finally heard jacks, use of time and beyond the gray sky live. Thought the set with the orchestra was great.

I left right after Beyond the Gray Sky... had to work early as well plus my drive home.

The sound just wasn't as crisp as I remember them having.

The Beautiful Disaster play with the Brass Band was very good however...

It actually seemed to me like they were having audio issues. Seemed like Tim's guitar and SAs mic cut out a few times. It wasn't super loud which I actually enjoyed. Everything didn't sound so distorted. I could actually make out the songs right when they started.

I had a blast last night. Felt like I was 14 years old all over again.

Definitely won't be listening to any 311 for a while... 66 songs is enough for this year.

It was an ok show last night. Even more of an obscure set list than expected. Probably at the bottom of the 311 Day shows I've been to though.

I had a really good time last night. I wish that they would have played some more of their well known songs, but it was pretty damn cool how they played some of the more obscure stuff. I'll be back the next time they're in New Orleans.

I had to leave about 12:15, but it was still a pretty good time. I get 311 has this cult following that knows every song they've ever written, but like others said, I wish they would have played a few more of their well known songs. At the very least, spread those songs out better throughout the set list. This was my 6th 311 show, and I feel like they rattle off so many of their less well known songs back to back at points in the show, that some of they stuff just ends up sounding the same. The sound mix did suck though. Guitars and vocals were cutting in and out way too much.

With that said, it was still a pretty good show.

311 Day is not about hearing their radio hits. its a day for the hardcore fans to hear the rarities and other songs not heard as often. if you want to hear amber or love song, go see them at a festival.

I've been to every 311 Day except for the 2 in Vegas. this was probably the second best one behind the 2004 show.
