What's the boards opinion of the movie? I was always interested in the case but never watched the film.

The one with the Hulk was aight as far as breaking down the case goes.

Weren't there two of them? Or am I thinking of Black Dahlia?

One of my favorite movies. It's one of those movies you can watch multiple times and not get bored with it.

I never understood the fanfare and good reviews for this movie. I didn't really like it TBH - and I'm usually a Fincher fan.

I thought it was decent, just not Fincher's best work.

ETA: It did have one of the most uncomfortable/creepy scenes I've ever seen in a movie, though.

Too long and really slow in some parts, but still way better than that piece of shite Spike Lee one about the Son of Sam.

I am on my cell right now but I will edit this post later with a link to the most interesting Zodiac discussion I have ever heard.

It is a 50 minute discussion between 2 well regarded psychiatrist. They are both convinced the unibomber is the Zodiac. I thought they were crazy when I started it, but by the time they were done I was convinced that someone needs to at least investigate it.

Here it is If you are into the Zodiac this is fascinating.

Like most Fincher movies, I thought it was very good. He was really good in Donnie Darko and Brokeback Mountain but Zodiac got me to the realization that Gyllenhaal is one of the very best in the business. Well worth the watch especially since you are interested in the case.

Thanks for the opinions. I'll check it out. I remember when it came out I intended to watch it and for whatever reason I just forgot about it. I was flipping channels today and saw it on.

I've only seen it once, but really, really enjoyed it. Looking forward to a rewatch soon.

I love it. I get drawn into watching it the same way Gyllenhaal's character gets into the case. Have watched it all the way through multiple times. Usually late at night when I should have already been asleep.

The opening long shot from the car has forever made me paranoid about walking to my car at night.

Good movie but unsettling as hell.
