I don't know what that means but it is definitely interesting.

quote:

In a move that’s bound to ignite speculation, Zack Snyder has removed any trace of Justice League from his Twitter profile. Justice League was already under a certain amount of scrutiny given its blockbuster profile and its attempts to bring a number of DC characters to the big screen for the first time—not counting cameos. That spotlight only increased when Zack Snyder had to step down from the film to deal with a family tragedy, only for former Marvel helmer and future Batgirl director Joss Whedon to step in and finish the film.

Hopefully this means he's gone from DC altogether after Justice League is done.

Nothing against him personally but Zack Snyder has been nothing but a train wreck for DCEU movies that completely shite the bed and made Superman and Batman into something that completely dishonored the source material they came from and acted in a way that goes against everything they're supposed to be.

His movies has been nothing but disaster porn for the sake of disaster porn with incoherent WTF plots that just jumps screen to screen without any smooth transition whatsoever. He's not a good writer and most certainly not a good director at all. One trick pony.

Snyder should've been fired after Batman v Superman bombed.

After BvS? Snyder should've neen fired after MoS.

As a non Superman movie, it's not really terrible. It's a Michael Bay style smash explosion fest.

But as a Superman movie it is an unwatchable abortion. It showed very clearly that he had absolutely no grasp of the source material or the character of Superman. He then doubled down on that ignorance in BvS.

I'll give him this: Zod is one of my favorite Super Hero Movie characters to be put on screen in that movie. Michael Shannon nailed that character and he's the best part of the movie

I don't think he's been that terrible, and the way he ended BvS may be a blessing in disguise. It gives the movies the opportunity to "reboot" Superman into a closer representation of the character.

I agree with this. I totally understand why everyone is upset with the representation of Superman in these movies, and I was never a Superman guy growing up so I can't really relate to the complaints. That said, I do have a hard time judging individual characters in these series of movies without having the entire story to critique. These characters clearly have arcs and will develop over many movies (whether you think that should be the way they structure these things is another discussion). I don't think Snyder has looked that far into the future and overall character arc of Superman, but it IS possible that he has a plan that makes sense when you look at the entire whole. We'll see...

Uhhh, no we won't. He changed his fricking twitter picture.

Everyone knows that changing twitter pictures means you have been fired by a major movie studio.

LOL. I heard he bought a Spider-Man family pack at Pizza Hut. He's definitely working for Marvel now.

I don't know what that means
It means that the guy hasn't touched Twitter since he came forward about his daughter's death (other than thanking everyone for their support, and to tweet a link to organizations that help those in danger of suicide).

His Twitter account is no longer a promotional vehicle. There's no reason to keep up images of superheroes when your feed is now a very serious, personal feed.

This fits Batman v Superman to a "T," but I liked Man of Steel a lot.

You laugh, but I'll bet Kevin Feige has already had to explain to some exec at Sony why Zazk Snyderis not a "slam dunk" for the next Spiderman movie

The irony of you using "one trick pony" at any mention of Snyder is hilarious.

You have become that which you hate.
