The guy from Ole Miss in the Australia episode was a bartender in Oxford. I think he admitted to being molested by his grandfather. Anyways, he told everyone that some of the animosity and even actual fights on the show never came close to happening. The producers just get extremely creative with the editing.

Thats the one I'm thinking of.
They used to have Real World Viewing Parties with drink specials every Wednesday or whatever night it aired at the bar he bartended at. It was the most awkward thing ever to be in that bar in silence after he admitted to being molested by his grandfather.

Their bar fricking blows by the way. One of the very few bars in Athens that occasionally has a cover charge.
It's more of a music venue anyway except they rarely have any good acts

a friend of mine from Wisconsin went to hs with that chick Julie from BYU that was on the first New Orleans one. Saw a pic of her in his yearbook. He said she was weird/dorky

This underscores how much these people are fame whores that go on this shows. This is a "deal with the devil" in the truest sense of the word, only there is absolutely no pretense here at all
