Lifetime and the Hallmark Channel are showing these cheaply made but sometimes amazing Christmas movies all month long. What are y'all's favorites?

One I have to watch every Christmas is "A Season For Miracles" from 1999. It's a little dark but sweet and heartwarming

quote:

A woman tries to save her sister's children from foster care by taking them to a small town where she is mistaken for a missing heiress.

I remember one that I used to watch with my family every year while growing up. Can't remember the name though. It featured a family who discovers the "real" Santa Claus. The little kid convinces his dad to do something to save Christmas.

So, pretty much like 98% of all Christmas movies ever.

Harrison Wells, who is actually Santa's son, has to rescue Buddy, the reindeer in order to save Christmas, while also falling in love with Brady Paisley's wife's sister. What's not to love about that?

Every Hallmark Christmas movie ever made:

Girl is too caught up in succeeding at her demanding job and has forgotten the true meaning of Christmas. She meets hunky guy who is either a widower or inexplicably single and learns the true meaning of Christmas.

The Gathering with Ed Asher and Maureen Stapleton. Made for TV tear jerker about a terminally ill man who reunites his estranged family for one last Christmas together.

The Christmas Card is a pretty good one.

Sounds like "The night they saved Christmas". Kid had to convince his dad not to dynamite site B because it would destroy north pole city...and that the oil really is at site A as the chief elf told him in his office one day.

I need to watch that one.

I watched "A Diva's Christmas Carol" with Vanessa Williams last night. It's a lot better than it sounds. VH1 made it back in 2000. The Ghost of Christmas Past is a Behind The Music segment on Vanessa Williams' character.
