What's the deal with this? Cliffhanger was last year.

I've read some rumor sites saying filming hasn't even begun and with Costner leaving and the ongoing writer's strike who knows what will happen.

It's certainly not life-altering but I liked the show and storyline and it seems a waste just to let the series fizzle out.

Dutton will end up President and kill all the brown skins and gays

That’s the trajectory anyway

If you watched 1883, the Indian told James Dutton that he could stay there for 7 generations and then his people would take it back. Tate is the seventh generation.

Kind of, they keep rerunning the repeats and promising a second half of season 5.

They are certainly wearing out the cliffhanger from the last episode on 1/1/23

The show is Sons of Anarchy but with cowboys. First season was really good but man has it been dog shite since then.

And Tate is half Injun, so, both Duttons and Injuns have the land.
Its literally the only reason to have Monica exist.

When a show stops being about an ever evolving story line and just about milking what is working then it will go downhill. You cant be scared to kill off some main characters if it makes sense for the show.

I don’t even care anymore. And thats a shame, because I was a fan. Even stuck with it after it started to decline. Now? Dgaf and will just pretend they all died at the end of Season 3 or whenever they all got shot.

This is me right now. Struggling to finish S5 after struggling to finish 1883, Sam Elliot is the only thing that kept me in that one.

This is where I started losing interest. When he came in, it turned into some weird homage to horses and completely threw the story off. I quit watching for a little bit.

He is going to give the land back to the Indian Reservation so that it can never be touched by developers.

Sam Elliot's character was terrible in 1883.

I'm usually a big fan of Elliot's, but not on this show.
