Xena: Warrior Princess to return?

Lucy Lawless talking it up at Comic Con.
I'm not going to pretend that I didn't watch this when it originally aired. While I quit watching during the last couple of seasons, when it became a weekly, wiccan lesbian scissoring hour, I'd definitely watch a reboot. Lucy is probably too old, though.

Executive producers Rob Tapert and Sam Raimi are said to be on board with the new Xena series and are citing it as a “modern reboot.” Potentially, Xena: Warrior Princess could return to the small screen as early as in 2016. While it is unclear if the reboot will be on ongoing series or a standalone season, insiders have been reported as saying the hope is for an ongoing series.

Yeah she's had a lot of medium sized part time roles recently, The Code, Agents of Shield, Salem. She doesn't look like someone that is ok with not acting. I'm sure she'd take a big paycheck to produce if that's all that's out there, but no doubt she wants to be Xena again.
