Would anyone want to see a direct sequel to Aliens ?

It would involve ripley, but an actual army of space marines ( like Buzz lightyear) and they would shoot aliens ( COD AW weaponry). it would involve more horror too

Neil Blomkamp's new movie is supposed to be a direct sequel. Hicks is still alive and Newt is now an adult. I don't know if this means its a different timeline from Alien 3 or alternate dimension or whatever though.

The new sequel nukes the rest of the movies except for the first.
So technically this new one will be the Proper Aliens 2.

Bit slow on this. They aren't letting Blomkamp do a movie anymore and Ridley Scott's movie will be called Alien Covenant

That's not correct. Blomkamp's movie is on hold until after Covenant is released.

The movie will not be made. I'm confident of that. Ridley Scott plans on making multiple sequels to his Prometheus Alien reboot.
