Other than the beginning, I thought it was boring. It became repetitive after a while. Like they were just doing a laundry list of "look how xtreme this dude's lifestyle is, brah!" I've seen that in a dozen other movies. That HBO show Vinyl was the same way. It's a worn out trope. Snore.

Pulp Fiction wasn't just a laundry list of "look how decadent and depraved this guy is". That's the difference. At a certain point, Wolf of Wall Street just becomes tedious. Not because it's offensive, I don't care about that. Because it's like 'Ok, we get it, he becomes depraved. Point made. Where are we going with this though?' And then it stays in that moment for like 3 hours.

Fair enough

But just going off of that guys post is came off as "I don't like that lifestyle or I'm not that kind of person so I don't like the movie". Maybe he was just speaking specifically to this one movie only, because if that's how you view movies you wouldn't have many you think we're good
