A good question is would an HBO/Netflix/AMC merger kill TV?

just cut out the "fricks" and youre pretty set. its a political drama. not game of thrones.

I think you'd have to censor alot if it was on a network broadcast station. Alot of the gay stuff, curse words, abortion stuff. On something like FX and AMC they'd get away with more.

If Entourage was syndicated just about anything can be.

Their selling their DVDs on their direct competitor's platform tells me that they're open to just about anything.

Probably not before Netflix subscriber growth peters out.

Sure.

Easiest bet I'd ever make. Except for the fact I'll probably be 50 when this happens.

Internationally Netflix's shows are aired on premium movie channels like HBO. When I was in Australia I saw all the House of Cards episodes on TV.

That's pretty interesting and basically disproves those saying they'd never make deals with broadcast companies

If you're talking about here in the US, it'll eventually happen as HBO has with shows like The Sopranos and Sex and the City.

Yeah I was referring to domestic. I know House of Cards is on TV in Spain and Germany also, so technically the answer to the OP is that this already happens.

Should've taken the bet. You'd have won before we got to page 3.
