Given Harrison Ford's record with trying to rejuvenate his old movie sagas that made him famous, I'm not too optimistic. Also, when is the last time that JJ Abrams made a good movie? The Star Trek movies were a catastrophe and really don't even come close to Star Trek 1,2, and 3. Cloverfield was horrible. Super 8 was predictable and boring. He's failed at everything he's touched (including LOST). I think the only redeeming quality of this movie is that he casted John Boyega and Daisy Ridley to play the lead roles. I hope I'm wrong, but this has all the makings of a disappointing blockbuster disaster for Harrison Ford and JJ Abrams once again.

Regardless of anything, this movie is going to make a ton of money.

You are consistently the worst poster on every board you post on. That's almost impressive.

I'm pretty sure JJ added some lens flare to that hook.

I actually enjoyed the Star Trek movies, and I was never a Star Trek fan.

I get why Star Trek fans were disappointed by the JJ movies, because they were essentially Star Wars movies with Star Trek characters. I also agree that those movies are pretty overhyped generally, but they are both WAYYYY better than Indy 4 or the SW prequels which, at this point, is the most recent Star Wars big screen experience any of us have had.

Both of those factors make me think SW7 will be solid. JJ is a Star Wars guy through and through and knows what the fans want to see, we will get his A+ effort on this for sure. Now if people are expecting something on the level of Empire then yeah it's going to be a letdown.

I'll agree that Indiana Jones 4 can make one question reality.

Which movies were good? LOST as a whole was terrible. Just watch the last episode to see that. hundreds of loose ends he never tied up which was the whole point of watching the last two seasons.

I like all of those movies.

I hate what ended up happening to LOST, but I liked all of the movies you just mentioned, and I'm pretty hard to please.
