They claim they stopped it because it didn't fit their "brand"

I kinda think it's because the cast was getting too old for it and the drama between them was dying down.

So will they try to start up a new reality show similar to Party Down South? It easily brought in the most viewers.

I already miss this show, it was my weekly trash tv viewing. Really who knows, they had that 2nd cast but that show was a train wreck and got cancelled. I know they were getting too old, but it seems they could've stretched it one more season, especially if they put them in a really exciting location.

It baffles me that CMT cancels their highest rated show ever and then says it doesn't fit their new "brand"...but Stone Cold's shows and DudePerfect do?? I guess they're trying to be a classier, more broad network now, but it seems they forgot who their viewers are...Southern folks who like seeing Southern things.

I think the creators of Party Down South and Jersey Shore are the same company. I would love to see some kind of physical competition show between the 2 casts a la "The Challenge". You know some of those Jersey Shore people are broke by now.

Now that is something I would watch. Daddy and the situation going Marlin hunting together would be great TV.

A guilty pleasure of mine is train wreck TV and party down south has been my favorite. I will miss it it.

Is their brand still redneck trash? I imagine they will replace it with something equally redneck and trashy.

The more trashy the better IMO.

Well why green light it in the first place anyway?

They claim they aren't trashy.

They want to be "less Party Down South and more Johnny Cash"

Daddy didn't land a single marlin the last season.

When Murray is getting more pretzel action in the bedroom than his mouth. It's time to end it.

He seemed very disinterested in the ladies this season, maybe he had doemthing going on back home.

I think there's a lot more going on in Daddy's personal life than the show let on.

Season 3 Daddy was my favorite. Getting too drunk to put hot dog in the pretzel. It made me feel a lot better about myself actually
