Why hasn't anyone did a reboot of jaws

It seems alot of movies are getting redone and having success. Why in the world haven't they done a modern reboot of jaws and release it during the summer? It seems like it would make tons of dough by name alone.

It doesn't need a reboot. It doesn't need re-making. The only thing they needed to do to it was to digitally remaster it and release it on blu ray. Which they did. Unless they could convert it to Imax format. Then that should be done. But that's not possible, is it?

im hoping and praying jaws. exorcist and gone with the wind all get remakes in the next 4-5 years just to watch the reactions from folks
