WHPD: Snapes obsession with Lilly was borderline creepy.

The dude stalked her from age 10 until she died. Then treats her son like absolute shite (for a somewhat good reason??) Snape was friend-zoned from day 1 and never got out of the bubble.
Snape is the biggest beta of them all. Gets bullied in school, too afraid to go after the girl he loves, joins a terror group to fill the void of Lilly not being his GF, scares little children when he gets older because he got the shite beat out of him at hogwarts. Dude fricking sucked. Agree?

Agreed.
It was definitely weird that Snape committed to protecting Harry Potter throughout his life because Harry had Lily's eyes. I mean, Lily chose the other guy. Move on. Who gives a shite about her kid?
They tried to set up a "Lily really loved Snape but chose James" angle, but that's only what would be made up in Snape's mind.
