I'm a bit surprised that his comments about the blacks are getting lost in the shuffle. Good thing Paula Dean didn't say anything about gays.

Because it wasn't racist. The media added the "Jim Crow" and "Blacks were happier under Jim Crow". The question that the interviewer asked was not even in the article. The whole article was a hit piece. Phil fell for it hook, line, and sinker.
The show continues. I'm sure the first few episodes are already filmed and he stated he wasn't going to be in them as much anyway. Phil makes no apology.
