The books were written well after Hunger Games so it kinda is. This won't be the only one.

There are several other books in this genre besides that one too. What got spoiled for me was the end of the book series, I think it was a terrible route to go (not talking about the main characters ending) and the universe is awful because of it.

I can't say I disagree with this, because I didn't want it to end the way it did. But, I don't think it takes away from the main story.

The books were a quick read, the story is fun, interesting and I was very into them. I recommend them as light reading to everyone.

I updated my post, I wasn't talking about the main character. The main story plot line is just awful, the further the universe goes out from the city, the worse it gets... It's kinda like what happened with the Matrix, the more you found out about what was beyond the Matrix, the more you wish you never knew what was beyond the Matrix.

I understood what you were saying. I agree with that. It was awkwardly revealed (strange wording) and wasn't explained well. Still, I stand by the entertainment of the books.

I saw it last week.

I'd give it 2/5. The movie was entertaining but in the 2nd half the movie seems to fall apart. They don't develop the supporting characters well enough and too many times I was left shaking my head and suspending my disbelief.
