The OP was debating between Lost, West Wing, and the Shield, frickhead. That's why I suggested those. If I wanted to suggest different shows that are "better than the shite" I already suggested within the context of his question, the Newsroom would definitely not be on that list. That show is fricking terrible. Kind of like your post.

Sopranos
Lost
Shield
I liked the Shield, but not nearly as much as many on this board. The West Wing and Sopranos are just great shows.
