What's the status on the ex Top Gear crew's Netflix show?

Everything I've seen says this fall. As early as September, or as late as November.
They are going to release it like it's a TV show. 1 episode per week.

Well that would be because the Top Gear as we knew it no longer has Clarkson, Hammond and May as hosts and whomever is hosting Top Gear for the BBC is going to pale in comparison to those three.
The name of the show that Clarkson, Hammond and May will host will not be called Top Gear.

The new BBC Top Gear presenter is Chris Evans. He's the sole person on the show... And evidently, he's already butting heads with production over them trying to control the show.

Ugh. May drove many multi-million dollar cars. Not sure which car you're talking about.

He's a total douche… apparently he's the UK Howard Stern. I heard Stern even went on his show one time in England and Stern basically said he was a total forgettable lightweight. I think he's massively rich and had a huge car collection. He was also married/dated Billy Piper, the original Dr Who sidekick girl from 2005… very hot and way out of his league, so I guess he is just like Stern.
He also has a huge leap and sounds like a complete weasel.

I have never listened to his show but that is the impression I got from him. Jeremy even called him out on being a psycho when he came on Top Gear. To have him replacing the trio is laughable at best.
