Maybe she is really excited about Vikings coming back, and Ragnar is her favorite character.

Then I'll pretend I missed the memo.

This reminds of the dumb "undershave" shite that was "in" awhile back, where women would shave their hair on the sides/back but leave enough long hair to cover it.

Women that have beautiful hair then wreck it makes me irrationally angry.

I gotcha.

I don't hate it. But, it's definitely not something I want to see catch on.

Instead, this is likely due to her role in "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Parts 1 and 2." In the final two "Hunger Games" installments, Dormer plays Cressida, a rebel from the Capitol who works with Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) and President Coin (Julianne Moore). Residents of the Capitol aren't exactly known for their toned-down looks, so having half her head shaved seems totally acceptable for her character.

I think it was "in" in the late 80s/early 90s. The first Mrs. Lucky So-n-So did this when she was in high school/college--precisely so she could cover it with her hair and hide it from her parents.

Natalie Dormer is still fine as frog's hair, though.
