Wife and kids are out of town. I rarely get to watch tv anymore besides bluey or super kitties. I have access to Netflix and Amazon prime. I enjoy thrillers/murder mysteries. Anything decent out on Netflix or Amazon prime that y’all would recommend?

It's in the sort of adventure genre I suppose

But I will use most excuses to convince people to try a few old movies: African Queen, Maltese Falcon, Casablanca, Cool Hand Luke, the Hustler, Dr Strangelove.

A great but little known thriller, as good as most Hitchcocks (made by one of his former writers):

State Secret (watch on YT)

I’ve seen most of these listed, looking for something relatively new

Do you like Sean Penn movies? If so, may I suggest "Mystic River" and "State of Grace". They are 2 of his best in my opinion.

Both excellent movies with "State of Grace" having an excellent supporting cast too. Ed Harris, Gary Oldman, John Tuturro, John C. Rieley, Robin Wright Penn
