What is Samantha Bee's target demographic?

"Socially aware" 24-35 year old women? She really can't appeal too much outside of those parameters can she?
Maybe I'm unfairly judging the show, but the commercials are atrocious. If that's what they're using to entice people to watch the show, I can't believe what the "bad" segments are like.

They're trying to reach the young and smug dem demographic. I hope the actual show is better than the cringe-inducing clips in the promos. It's ok to be slanted, but her bits wouldn't even be funny if Inwas "With Her".

I haven't seen the Daily Show since Trevor Noah took over but it used to be pretty funny.

SJWs. Honestly I don't think anyone else is for them. She actually released a video before the holidays that Trans issues are what wins election. Apparently the Attorney General of North Carolina was pro-trans rights, so she said that SJW's opinions are what wins elections. So to recap her point:
President- Republican
Cabinet- Republican
Senate- Republican
House- Republican
Supreme Court- Republican
Governors- Republican
One single Attorney General in a state that also voted for Trump and Republican lawmakers for the most part- Democrat

I usually enjoy watching satirical news. I used to watch the Daily Show and Colbert Report every night, but this shite and the Larry Wilmore show that got canceled... eesh. It's not as easy as those guys made it look.

Yeah, only Oliver was close, and he wasn't nearly as good last year as he was the past two. Him interviewing Edward Snowden and literally founding his own church was amazing.

Yeah, I like a lot of what they did on Last Week Tonight. I laughed out loud several times while watching it. He kind of got sucked in and infatuated with Trump and it took away some of the creativity of the show, but they do a good job overall.

I loved the Daily Show with Jon Stewart. It was one of my favorite shows on tv along with the Colbert Report.
Since Colbert dropped his character, he's no longer funny.
Trevor is ok, but he isn't in the same league as Jon. Stewart had a humble streak in him that Trevor simply doesn't have. Trevor only has two modes: condescending and awkward, and is not as good at either of those as Stewart was, and Jon could also be shocked, humble, scared, manic, jubilant, goofy, frank, and compassionate all in the same bit. He made it look so effortless. Plus, Jon did occasionally, at least, bash democrats when they really deserved it. Trevor defends them at all costs.

Yeah, Oliver has that gift as well. He did a piece about discrimination, and said that actually Democrats and the Northern States (particularly New York which finished at the very bottom of all 50 states) are far more guilty of it than the South, and then went to town why the Democrats are hypocrites about it and Republicans were ahead of the curve on it years ago. Noah I can't see doing a piece like that.

Yeah Trevor Noah is a bit too far democrat, loved the shows with Colbert and Stewart. Neither were overly liberal.
