Final scene in Glory the cinematography is phenomenal and the music score is loud and intense.

Love story aside I thought the attack in Pearl Harbor was well done.

Agree with all mentioned but the helicopter assault in Apocalypse Now is spiritual for me.

I always get the chills when the 54th is marching out onto the beach and the soldier yells "Give 'em hell, 54th!"

Not really a battle but the staircase brawl in season 2 of Daredevil legit gave me goosebumps. Idk who that fight coordinator is but he deserves some kind of award.

I have seen a lot of war movies but I haven't seen a better TV shoot out than the ambush scene from Generation Kill.

Never pet a burning dog

I have to add that when I reading this book (the HBO series was years in the future) and it got to this point, I thought, "That is a kill zone."

That is a fricking great movie and battle scene.

Glory

Couple things:

In the actual battle, they didn't start the attack until after dark. Col. Shaw ran straight into the first rebel trench and was immediately shot dead.

The site of Battery Wagner is gone, eroded away by the sea.

I saw Gettysburg in Nashville in 1993. When the drums started to roll to fall in for Pickett's Charge, I could hear people weeping. And that is not a bad battle scene either.

The 20th Maine fight on Little Round Top was also well done.
