Let's do this!

Im fricking hooked pretty quick on this show.
Typically you need a few episodes to truly build the world, characters and story.

Non spoiler tidbits from the movie below:
Watched the 1973 movie in prep..
Enjoyed it. I feel like it's
Really wish we can see Roman World and Medieval World!
In the movie, it's an infection that causes the robots to do damage.
The guns are real but they won't shoot at anything warm blooded.
In the movie, they're paying $1000 a day. In 1973, that's equivalent to $5000 in 2016. I wonder what it's supposed to cost to go to the park in the show?
I wonder why they renamed the company from Delois. Delois sounds so much cooler.

I couldn't participate in a park such as this one. One would have to assume that everything is recorded or at least observed. I damn sure wouldn't want to leave myself open to embarrassment or blackmail if someone had video of me having sex or being violent.

You should edit and start a new thread for people who want to read about the movie. Otherwise, prepare dat anus.

Rewatching the end of Chestnut right now. The gratuitous use of the word "frick" is starting to grate on me a little. Especially the nerdy engineer chick who keeps say frick every other word while she's inspecting the black whore who then starts saying "frick" too.

I didn't spoil a thing. But I'll add a "warning"

Don't think so. I'm just assuming it's broadly in the "near future." Anywhere from 10 to 30 years, by my straight out of the wazoo guess.
