How long do the storyline last for hosts who don't die before they're set back on their loop.

Finished Episode 8, but I think it just depends. Delores has been on hers for decades, but Maeve has only been on hers for a year.

I dont think that's what he asking.

I think he's asking when do the story lines reset or start over on a short term scale.

Honestly I'm not sure that they've ever gone into those details.

I think he's asking about how often do the generic storylines reset even if a host isn't killed. Is it every night? Once a week?

I don't think they have explained how that works yet...I think it is a bit of a flaw in the show...how many customers are in the storyline at one time? They never make that clear...

The customers we're watching now are most likely not there during the same time frame. Dolores escaping from the Army camp after she was stabbed and then waking up with no blood on her shows the camp memory was from the past and she was just remembering it in her dreams.

Not sure how we feel about non-TV info here, so I'll post this as a link instead of an image, but the Delores story loop posted on the Delos site is probably the best insight into how the loops work: LINK (it's just an animated gif at the link).

Her normal story loop starts and ends with "new day at the ranch." I'd imagine it's similar for all the hosts, like Teddy riding in on the train every day before he was given his new back story.

Show hasn't addressed it, but my guess is a week to 10 days.

They have had at one time 1,400 guests and 2,000 hosts in the park at the same time.

I would guess they would run sessions where guests get to stay there for a week or so. Then when the session is over the guests have to leave and pay again if they want to stay. That's when they'd reset the loop.

Only thing with that is we know that the mib is in their long enough to see certain loops replay. But then again that could be a special occasion since he is on the board I guess

Some are in daily loops that have options depending on their interactions. Others like the posse going after the bandit in the hills have longer loops depending on occupation, narrative or profession.
