Never could get into watching the Left Wing.
I can't stand Sorkin and his politics, but I will concede that the Newsroom was OK.

Not really. It's pretty left leaning, however it's far more balanced than The Newsroom.
Good show though, very entertaining.

No, it's not a situational comedy.

West Wing was pretty even handed except for 1 evil republican and 1 evil evangelical.
Newsroom spent 2 seasons taking a dump on conservatives while having an alleged conservative take said dump without ever using his show to attack the liberal side.
West Wing is great. Newsroom is horrible trash.
Godfather will be along shortly to set you straight.
