Didn’t see a thread on this yet but what an impressive departure from the usual Marvel formula. Really blown away how good this was.

I think it’s one of the best things Marvel has done and helps wash out the bad taste of their most recent offerings

I haven't decided if I want to watch it since it's way outside my normal preferences.

The guy that directed it doesn't have a ton of directing experience, but does the scores for a lot of stuff. I think it was kind of a passion project for him.

This was a really fun addition! Anyone else get Jessica Jones vibes from Elsa? Except she’s pretty ruthless. She’s a badass for sure.

I liked they made the Werewolf costume practical but clearly went all out on a cool design for Man-Thing.

Giacchino is fantastic composer and this was great project for his directing debut. I really enjoyed it. Definitely felt like a classic Universal Monster film.

This is the best MCU product since End Game.

Jack and Elsa are easily better characters than anyone else introduced in Phase 4 so far.

This was pretty good. Loved how they shot it like a 40s B&W movie and at the end transitioned into a faux technicolor look. It was also much more violent than I was expecting. Have to think that had it been in color the whole way through it would have been TV-MA instead of TV-14.

Thanks for posting this. I didn't realize it was released. I just watched and really enjoyed the old school monster movie vibe.

I enjoyed the hell out of it.

The supernatural corner of marvel is the future.

That was great. Great surprises. I wish more franchises would do little done in one films like this.

Really enjoyed it and it was a great way to introduce new comic characters without the way they would normally do it. Lot more graphic than I thought it would be.

Confused as to why there's not more discussion on this movie. It's everything that people in here have been asking Disney Marvel to do, but few have watched it?

Same. I thought it was great. I wasn't sure what to expect going into it. I watched it first and then rewatched it with my 12 year old. Hes not big on jump scare stuff so I didn't want him getting nightmares or something. But he really enjoyed it too.

Wonder if many thought it was just some lame Halloween type special. I felt that way when I saw it come across my tv screen. I'll try to watch it tonight!

I think football and the baseball playoffs kind of dominate viewing this time of year. I was going to watch last night but the Bengals/Ravens sucked me in.

This obviously has not been marketed much or well at all. I've watched pretty much everything marvel has put out since Iron Man 1, and I didn't even know of this movie until right now.
Will check it out soon though.
