I watched the first season one week on HBOgo. Found it to be entertaining but hard to binge (there's a lot to keep track of and some of it is just boring and uninteresting)

I like the show, love it really but it's hard watching as ASOIAF fan. It's an issue with me though, it's like that with every movie adaptation of books I love.

It has had that potential since the beginning but this season just squarely put it right there with anything else you can name imo.
If the last seasons and final battles continue to be this epic it'll be in a tier alone

My thing tonight is that my wife made a great point. She has watched The Wire, BB and GoT. She has said for a couple of years that she thought GoT had surpassed the Wire and BB and I always stuck with The Wire being better.
Her point was that I got up off of the couch and acted like an idiot during a few scenes tonight and she said the only other thing she's ever seen me do that with was LSU football games.
That's when I realized she was right.

if you did that when i used to watch the wire i'd have kicked you in the nuts
i used to watch the wire on sundays, monday or tuesday, and then saturday or sunday
just to soak it all in and because i appreciated it that much. i rarely even double watch GOT episodes these days
i did just do a series re-watch before this season though
