The trailer was 5000000 times worse than I could've possibly imagine. Holy shite
I do love the tag line of "all you need to be a DJ is a laptop and Some talent" should've just left it at the laptop part.
You know the movie is bad whenever they are giving lines to shitty vine actresses

So is Zac Efron done as a leading man?
ehh, this flick only cost $6m plus whatever the extremely small marketing campaign came out to.
it's not like he just headlined a $100m flop.

It looked absolutely awful.
Surprised by Wes Bentley though. He actually has some acting chops.
Sometimes its a matter of how good your choices are rather then how good your acting is. I've seen some really talented actors torpedo their careers over the years I'm sorry to say.

Zac Efron is a perennial shite movie maker. I could tell this would be shite.

There was one trailer that made it look like it might actually have something to say about this generation, including how the music is indulgent and lazy and reflects the young men's attitudes in the movie, and then I never saw it again and instead saw a bunch images of attractive people gyrating. They basically missed the marketing mark and the critics didn't do it any favors. I was actually intrigued by it from the first trailer because it looked like it actually explored the millennial generation. Apparently it doesn't.
