Let's not forget that he didn't want his brother, who was a wackjob, to have to play for Kilmer. Mox's brother probably needed that structure.
Now that Kilmer is gone, the town probably doesn't have much going for it. That team was probably a big part of the economy. West Canaan probably became a ghost town like so many other rural towns do that suffer the loss of a relatively big economic driver.

For my birthday this year my sister got me a West Canaan Coyotes cap. I treasure it. Just like I treasure a win against "Bang-vull", you dummy-o's. Hell, in honor of this amazing movie I still drive around naked with high school sophomores and I'm 31!

Good Question, but that's probably why Kilmer didn't like handing the ball to him in the redzone. He wasn't racist, he just wanted to reduce the chances of injury when the defense has less space to defend.

This is such a great play as well. I have always wondered why college and NFL QBs just clock the ball by spiking it on the turf rather than run another 3-5 seconds off by throwing it over and hitting the mascot. It's not like they're doing it to save the clock anyways
