It's not a bad film, but the content at times is horrible. I watched it last year and don't need to really see it again.

I do agree with those who are saying that there is a difference between making filthy shite and calling it art and actually making an artful film. Sometimes people just make fricked up things for the sake of making fricked up things. That's the category I put this one in...it's not really art that you can "get" or "not get." It's just fricked up scenarios put on film (for seemingly no reason or rhyme).

That being said, outside of of a couple of parts, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

Cannibal Holocaust is an interesting one. Pretty fricked up. But it's "just a movie" just like ASF is (even though it's shot as a documentary).

A Serbian Film makes Cannibal Holocaust look like Forest Gump.

It's crap, but it is supposed to be social commentary; Supposedly about how the Serbian govt. has been raping the people since birth (hence the baby scene), and so on. There was some interview with the director that explained it all, but IMO it's just a crappy movie regardless.
