It wasn't great, maybe just borderline good. Rickey Hill deserved a better telling of his story but such is life. I wouldn't doubt it will get brigaded by reviewers that will upset the balance but it is a 5.5 for me.

it was dumbed down writing
horrible sets/wardrobe
the acting was... oh so meh
the actor playing Hill ,, showed athleticism .
but that wad the only semi-realistic part

I was curious about my theory, I was right at least Rotten Tomatoes is getting brigaded. There is no way it should be 97% audience, this is one time I agree with the critics.

Women are propping it up based upon my FB feed. Th3yre spreading the word to watch for some reason. The movie overall is a D+ IMO. Good story, very spare execution.

I watched it with my son, we both enjoyed it. By no means a masterpiece but enjoyable for a lazy Saturday afternoon
