It was too crass and seeing a ten year old curse repetitively was never funny. That is not what the Vacation films were ever about. I hate Helms in everything so that didn't help. That said, Hemsworth stole the show and I got teary eyed when the Truckster and Ellen and Clark appeared. It was stupid to see them live in San Fran for plot purposes btw.

Comedy is all subjective. I agree Pineapple is overrated but Superbad is pretty damn funny
