I'm the same way. I saw like 3 episodes of The Bridge and couldn't get into it. But I was hooked on Tyrant after watching the pilot.

The only character I do not like is Tucker(?), the US ambassador. Only because I can't stop thinking of him as his dumbass character in Weeds.

I liked the pilot and the second episode but it has gone downhill fast. I don't like Barry's family at all. I do love Jamal and his wife and honestly feel that the series would be much better if it solely focused on them and Barry did not exist.

My friends and I really enjoy it. Don't care much for the kids, like everyone else here. Only thing that scares me is I believe this is filmed in Israel and with all thats going on over there I don't know it's feasible to keep it there. It'd be funny if they end the season with the royal family being outed of power and have to move to SoCal and adapt to American culture and life. I know thats not what this show set out to do but if it decides to turn comedy it's an option at least.

I think that's the way they are headed. It's called tyrant for a reason and bassan is the main character. So it's gotta see his arc go from level headed pediatrician to obscene dictator. Something has to happen eventually with Jamal. This show should not have a happy ending.

Anyone else watching? I think tonight and there giving in to the vote has killed it for me.

I did find it a little rushed and unrealistic to give in to the election so quickly. Probably the worst episode so far but it saved itself at the end. I will continue to watch.

The Strain on F/X is pretty good as well. Comes on Sunday nights and really picked up on the third episode on Sunday.
