Just watched the pilot and really enjoyed this show. Very interesting and fresh. Can't wait to see what happens when Jamaal recovers. And just how far Barry will go now that he's back in the place where he knows he can't trust himself.

The gay son is a cheap cop out plot angle. Otherwise enjoy the show.

I don't agree with the gay son being a bad thing. I think it will add an interesting dynamic as the spoiled, naive son thinks he will be able to do what he wants in a place that has a zero tolerance attitude toward gays.
