Turn on the TV, he's talking about Katrina and the Superdome during Katrina.

Seal is playing Pontius Pilot. Complete with a wireless Bluetooth headset.

I'm surprised they have a white guy playing Jesus

The disciples and Judas are Latino and Arabic, Pontius Pilot is black, and Jesus is white.
Someone at Fox has already been fired.

I did. But, like a train wreck, I don't want to stare but I can't look away.
Tyler Perry sounds pretty good for talking with his head all the way up his own arse.

I wonder if they'll discuss Jesus's high-school years:

Are these songs from something?
Or is the audience just trying to lip sync everything they see? They keep panning to random audience members mouthing along with the songs.

the expalination I heard sometime this past week is that New Orleans like Jesus died and has risen again. So of course there will be ALOT of New Orleans refrences

The homosexual duet between Jesus and Peter was the Philip Philips song "Home" that was popular in last 2012. I'm not sure how it fits in with the Passion story.

It would've been great if when she said:
"I was here. I know you were too. Hurricane Katrina is an experience I'll never forget. What about you?"
He responded with:
"Katrina?.... Katrina? That was that hurricane a few years ago right? I don't know, like every other sane citizen of new Orleans I have moved on and left that brutal memory in my past."

I will say that the Katrina tragedy has been milked dry and they are still trying to squeeze everything out of it. One day they will have to move on.
