Searched but didn't see a thread on the finale. I guess that is a microcosm of how horrible the show had become. They clearly acknowledged this fact the entire episode through the jokes they made about themselves. I thought Chuck Lorre came across very petty with the attacks on Sheen. In my opinion, the script and ending allowed Sheen to come out on top again! Thoughts?

I thought the very ending clearly showed Chuck Lorre wasn't taking himself so seriously. The jokes were good, I thought, even the bad ones were good since they completely owned it.

The show should have ended years ago but the finale was awesome

For those that have absolutely zero desire to watch it, what happens in teh finale?

I watched maybe the first 2 or 3 seasons and then lost interest entirely.

Pretty petty of Lorre, end a 12 year running show on a 5 year old internet joke that has been done to death.

Cheated fans of a real finale in order to get a shot in, a lame one at that.

Here is a synopsis I found on the interwebs. I was curious as well but not as lazy.

This.

It shouldve ended when Charlie Sheen left, or maybe they should have made the 1st season with Walden the final season.

I had really enjoyed this show (the writing especially) during the Sheen years, but quit watching after the first season with Kutcher.

Jon Cryer is amazing over the entire series, and is a very under-rated comedic actor. I'd argue his character Allen is the most-abused/terrorized/degraded/mocked character in sitcom history- and I loved it.

The series finale last nite was a bonus, esp. the sendoff w/ Lorre at the very end.

The show was never any good. I guess there will always be a market for ultra low brow humor.

I liked it before and after Sheen, and have always watched it. I was not a fan of the finale.

I enjoyed the finale and how they poked fun at the show. I did think that how Charlie was kept alive was a stretch.

they had to get enough episodes to have a syndication package that didnt have Charlie in it.

honestly, I'm not surprised that Charlie didn't show up for such a lame cameo idea.

I was a Two and a Half Men fan from the start. Basically any sitcom will be shite on on this board because it's either too low brow or formulaic.

What made it funny for me at first was that it was about two totally different guys teaching a stupid little kid. That wore off for me and I stopped watching it even before Sheen left, but I'm not going to sit here and claim I didn't like it because my sense of comedy is sooooooo refined like some do.

Allen - Charlie had anger issues

Walden - He should have tried anger management

Allen - He did, but it didn't work out

I sort of stopped keeping up with the show a long time ago. I would watch an episode every now and then when nothing else was on. I actually wanted to see the finale but missed it. Does anyone know when it'll replay or a way to watch online?
