Yeah...now that the bot excuse has been disproven, they are trying to blame the alt-right for why audiences are dismissing it as a mediocre outing.

I dunno man. I have yet to meet anybody in person that hated it like this board.

I even stopped in my local comic shop and the consensus there was that it was liked. I felt like for sure they would’ve been hating hard on it

Why does it have to be the "Alt-Right"? I mean, come on. Talk about blowing things out of proportion. But then again, that's what they do.

It’s so fricking lame when people bring up politics when people have an opinion they don’t like.

Well not only that, but going the completely opposite end of the spectrum with it.

Why didn’t the alt right get all upset with Rogue One if it were about diversity? That movie was pretty well received. I think the audience review is better than the critics review for the movie.

I play SWGOH, all die hard star wars fans, not one hated it. Now there are a couple small things here and there, nothing like this board.

I really don't think the Alt-Right give a crud about a movie... lmao... keep coming up with reasons... here's a hint, write a better script...

I don't hate it. I walked out of it the same way I walked out of Justice League: disappointed that it could have been so much better and so much more but couldn't get out of its own way.

This is how I feel and same with most of my co-workers. Worthy of it's 55 score.

I have met multiple.

Hell, one of the people i went to the show with last night had the same opinion as I do.

It wasn't the worst movie ever made. It was a bad movie that was made in the vein of Marvel movies, not a Star Wars movie.

Yeah, I didn't hate it as a movie about futuristic shite happening in space (though it was a long way from being good or great) but I hated it as Star Wars: Episode VIII.

And that's why the audience reaction is tanking. Franchises like this get graded on a curve, for better or worse.

And it didn't even succeed in its presumed mission to "deconstruct Star Wars" or "tear down the mythos surrounding the Jedi"

This. It wasn't a Star Wars movie.

2 out of 5 stars.

RT rates that as fresh. . .

While a good Star Wars film, this was not the best. With issues across the board (technical, character and plot), The Last Jedi does leave much to be desired.

Its scattered pacing and tangled subplots doesn't make THE LAST JEDI a failure, but neither is it a celebration - or more importantly, an elevation - of anything other than the legacies of the late Carrie Fisher, and justly revered Mark Hamill

The Last Jedi should be the last Jedi. My interest died along with Hans Solo who took with him that cowboys in space humor that made the franchise so special.

Pssshhh. . .

I give up.
