It appears they are protesting the arrest of Polanski in a neutral country, which you assume to be in line with supporting statutory rape. If I'm ignorant because I don't care to closely follow the personal lives of celebrities, I'm cool with that.

Who says they support statutory rape?

They won't work with Mel because he is a racist, but they will work with roman even though he's a rapist...are you really this dense or just obtuse?

I think he was shooting for a point there. I just have no clue what that point is.

I asked for a link of people in hollywood supporting statutory rape. I followed the posted link to read about people complaining that Roman Polansky was arrested in Switzerland, a neutral country, and asking for his release.

Seriously, ignorance abounds in Auburn methinks.

fricking A man.

Not even worth it anymore.

No one said anything about Hollywood supporting statutory rape and you dropped the "link it" comeback.

Can you follow that?

You're fricking killing me:

The tyger guy said:
quote:

Violent and crazy liberal = "quirky", "artistic", and "eccentric". A brilliant savant who should be accepted, lauded, and supported.

To which I replied:

quote:

Example?

To which he replied:

quote:

Alec Baldwin

Roman Polanski

Wooddy Allen

Shall I go on?

To which I replied:

quote:

I know nothing about those people, nor what they did. Is what they did comparable to Mel Gibson?

To which Mulder replied:

quote:

oh roman Polanski just fricked a 13 year old girl and has been a fugitive living in france

To which I replied:

quote:

Please link me to anyone in hollywood supporting statutory rape.

Now refer to Tyger's first post. By him posting the link, he implies that the protest of Polanski's arrest is tacit support of his statutory rape.

And no one said anything about Hollywood supporting statutory rape. You brought up the point like someone had mentioned it before.

Just the fact that people still work with him shows they support his actions or at least don't care.

Working with someone after they've done something fricked up doesn't mean you support the crime.

You're either fricking with me (brilliantly, I might add) or completely dense.
I'll assume the former so I can get back to work.

Is this true of Mel Gibson as well?
