The Lion King musical was insufferable.

That's laughable.

You must hate Elton John or something like that.

That's one I'm not worried about. I just bought:

Hunchback
Mulan
Black Cauldron
Pocahontas
Hercules
L&S
Tarzan
Emperor's New Groove

Oh, and SSX Tricky for the GameCube. Because I fricking LOVE that game.

Be that as it may, you'll still be surprised. It is fantastic.

Anyone who thinks the score for The Lion King is "meh" is on crack. It won an Oscar for its music and one of its songs.

In fact…it's the only Oscar Hans Zimmer has ever won.

Again, musical numbers great, Score...eh. Maybe not forgettable, but I actually think BatB is way better. Score was never Disney's strong suit anyways. There are few standout ones.

I disagree. I found the score, especially the end where Simba roars in triumph atop Pride Rock, to be very powerful and tear-inducing.

Here is the list that I plan to watch (that I've not seen before):

Pocahontas
Hunchback
Hercules
Mulan
Tarzan
Emperor's New Groove
Lilo & Stitch

Of that list, I own Hercules, Mulan, and Emperor's New Groove.

1. Mulan
2. Emperor's New Groove
...
...
...
...
3. Hercules.

Mulan and Emperor's are great. Hercules is worth a watch, but it's not a masterpiece by any means.

Krunk is the tits in the Emperors new groove and I like watching Hercules just for Hades

Haven't seen The Black Cauldron or any of the new animated movies, Cars and Finding Nemo kind of made me not like animation for awhile.

I was born in 86 so these films were huge to me.

1) Beauty and the Beast
2)Lion King
3)Aladdin
4)Little Mermaid

I grew out of Disney after the horrible Pochahantas movies but have seen Hercules and Tarzan years later. Both solid flicks.

What movie ended Disney's great run? Home on the Range destroyed it but when did it start to decline?
