My favorite Halloween movies are mostly the ones I first fell in love with as a kid and have continued to watch since then. I have not seen many "newer" films that I care to see again.

Friday the 13th 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, and 7

Halloween 1, 2, and 4

The original Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Don't really care for "horror films" but one of my favorites is Hellraiser.

Another good one, not for scary but for shear entertainment is Sliter. It's done by James Gunn, GotG screenplay write and Jenna Fisher's ex-husband.

Those are the better films. Most of today's new horror films aren't worth much. Only a few every year are very good IMO. The classics are still the best, that's why they're called classics haha.

I was at a Halloween party last year, and they were showing Dawn of the Dead (the Zach Snyder version). The sound was off, and the movie was actually quite enjoyable like that. Especially during the credits when they're showing the people trying to get to the island.

Hocus Pocus? Best part about that was Vinnessa Shaw's cans.*

*And while she might have been under 18 during filming she's older than me so it doesn't make it pervy... right?

If you guys haven't seen it, do yourself a favor and watch Trick'rTreat. Not really a horror movie, but a great Halloween movie. It's good creepy fun. It's tone and atmosphere are perfect

When I saw it I thought I'd found a hidden gem, but soon realized pretty much everyone has seen it already. Great movie!!
