Tombstone and Hollywood quality control

Just rewatched Tombstone...
Does anyone still buy Kurt's stache as Wyatt Earp?
It almost ruins the movie being a Halloween costume.
Sam Elliot yes.
Bill Paxton, potentially.
Why did they give the lead the most unbelievable stache of all time in a major movie?
It's like total Halloween costume stache.
It just looks so..fake.
Super Troopers had better mustaches, even the dude who refused to grow a stache...had a better stache.
I've never seen a major motion picture with a total star leading it with such a fake part attached to his head...and everyone says...oh yeah, that looks real.
Paxton, Kilmer, Elliot have real staches at the end.
Kurt Russell has glue on glue hair. It's just so annoying and obvious. He looks like a fun park ride character who jumps out at you and says "raise your hands pardner!"
