how did this part not get discussion yet:
I'm almost more excited about that part of the article. That means either we are going to get some Spiderman/Mary Jane sex, or it's going to be dark and brutal.
I'm down for either.

This is also bittersweet. Pretty much means he is out as Bond if Craig does not reprise his role. No way he can do both in the next two years. Bond takes a major commitment.

Thinking of the wrong character. Hardy is great in everything he does. Really enjoyed Legend recently.

That is fantastic casting. Lightyears better than Topher Grace for sure. Hardy has the build, look, and acting chops to know this role out of the park.
The only thing I don't like is this won't be part of the MCU where it belongs

I would imagine we will see A LOT more standalon-ish kind of R rated comic book movies with adult characters after the success of Logan... Only took Hollywood 15 yrs to actually realize this is what people have been craving.

It took 15 years for the new comic generation to appreciate an r rated comic movie..
The 90s kids that loved the overblown image , dark horse, uncanny x men , leifield and Jim Lee awesomeness (cheesiness) are all grown up and want the medium to grow with them
