So if breaking bad was only planned for 5 seasons, will they do the same with BCS or will it go longer than BB?

If so, I'm kind of hoping they wrap up the "saul" angle in season 4 and dedicate an entire season 5 to gene.

Technically it was five, but it felt more like 6 the way they split up the final season and added more episodes. I know they have signed most of the actors for 6 season, but I have heard that is a standard practice just to lock them up in case it goes that long.

I think I would like the first half of a season where we see the transformation to Saul and how he sets up his practice. A full season of Saul and then the first half or so of the next season of him turning into Gene and then about the last half of the final season as Gene and have it fade out that way.

I wonder if there will be any significant time having gone by by the time season 4 starts. Because Jimmy is still pretty much 11 months and 3 weeks away from getting his law license reinstated. Or if it will pick up immediately following the fire.

I suspect we will get a time jump pretty early in the season. I could see them showing us the aftermath of the fire and then jumping. There almost has to be a time jump at some point or they are going to need 12 seasons to tell the story.

You wouldn't want to miss Mike putting together a jungle gym for Kaylee. It would be suspenseful as hell for Mike to have a leftover part when he finished the gym. And what about breakfast. Who wouldn't want to see the backstory on that?
