So I'm going through season 11 right now and just got to end of it. I honestly am not a fan of their choice for God, I feel like he should have been done in a much more badass way. Outside of that, the season has been amazing in my thoughts.

i'm not an original viewer, but i had some friends that binged on it over the spring. it got me curious and i've been hooked on it ever since. i'm finally caught up to where i can watch the new episodes.

season 11 picked up alot after the past few seasons. i'm really surprised that they haven't actually brought in Jesus yet as a potential character on the show. as a Christian, i can definitely tell that they are dancing along the line of being blasphemous. they've basically referenced everything in the bible almost, and twisting the different events to make it more tv appealing and entertaining. except for the fact they haven't brought in the son of god. but as a viewer, i take it for what it is. strictly entertainment.

I don't think Jesus would fit in with this show. I've never heard of God having a sister but other than that they are fairly consistent with Christian teachings and the Bible. I like that their monsters of the week are based on real folklore too.

Love the show, the angle they take on why Lucifer was cast from heaven is awesome. Been a big fan for awhile now

They're kind of stretching thin, but I feel like they're trying to bring it all to a head for season 13 and have that be the series finale

Agree. Like most shows, the quality goes down as the season numbers go up.

This is what Jesus has been up to in the series.

They did everything at the end of season 5 but TELL you that Chuck was God.

I don't really know where they're going with this season. Are they trying to hunt down Lucifer again? What does the London Branch of the Men of Letters have to do with this?

They're on the quest for more money.

Amara was just that...the darkness.

Yeah, season 11 felt epic again, it's hard to see where they can escalate to after Chuck vs. Amara. I suspect the Men of Letters UK Edition will be some legal proceedings that lead to a sentence of prison/death and then Sam and Dean get out of it by releasing an evil that they eventually have to vanquish.

But remember earlier in Season 4 or 5, when they showed Chuck getting his vision/dreams, waking up with a headache and writing? Which is exactly what he said typically happened when writing his "books?"

Seems like he was supposed to be just a Prophet then or maybe God was just really just into character when alone?

That's what always annoyed me. I distinctly remember that which always made the "Chuck is God" angle seem a little bit of a swerve after the fact.
