Oh my.
I don't even know what to think. It was one of the oddest movies I've seen in a long time and probably the most violent movie I've ever seen.
It has extreme gore and I wasn't exactly expecting it to be at the level it was.
The first person vision is ok. Some of it was a little disorienting and some of the disembodied effects brought back memories of when I was sick.
The plot is just weird. Bad/good, it was unique and absolutely ridiculous. Ballsey.
The movie was fricking trippy.

This is why I haven't cared much for seeing it. It's a cool idea but I feel like the endless shaking will make it hard to follow and just be physically uncomfortable on the eyes and head.

There isn't too much shaking (except when he is nodding or shaking his head which is not great). It's the rapid edits and jumps that can be confusing.

I saw the preview for it in theaters a few weeks ago. There is no way I could sit through a whole movie in the theater that is filmed like that. I was getting nauseous just watching that trailer.

It's how that Doom abomination should have been shot. Even with the crappy Doom retcon that occurred, that would have made it much better. The best part was the 30 seconds or whatever where Urban went berzerk mode.

From the trailers alone I thought I would need Dramamine to watch this movie (via RedBox, no way I plan to pay more than $2 to watch this).

That was the most plot less, headache inducing, nauseating movie I have ever seen in my life.
