We're about halfway in, and honestly it's doing a pretty good job freaking me out. Paranormal stuff doesn't bother me, but this is too close to something that could actually happen due to mental illness. Damn

You need to finish watching the movie. It needs to be taken as a whole. I enjoyed the movie, and I thought that it was an interesting idea.

I am going to say something that everyone hates. Because hyperbole is a dime a dozen.

(But I say it because I think it's true - public and critics don't talk about this movie)

One of the most underrated movies of all-time...so underrated.

If it didn't have that twist at the end, it would be re-watchability factor near Shawshank.

I want to hear OP's thoughts once the movie was over...

Easily. And it's mainly because most people simply haven't ever heard of it. Any person I've ever gotten to watch it thinks it's pretty great.

Just a solid thriller/suspense type movie from start to finish.

ETA: It's always weird to me when people start posting about something (especially movies) on here in the middle of watching them. I always feel like they aren't paying enough attention to whatever it is that they're supposed to be watching.

I'll agree with the sentiment that it is criminally underrated, and mainly for the reason cocomo said..nobody has ever heard of it.

I was guilty myself. I was in high school and my buddy said you gotta watch this movie. I was like, I've never heard of it. After it ended I was completely blown away and went out and bought it. Any time someone asks me for a movie recommendation that's always one of the first I mention. Great, great movie.

Is this the one with Christian Slater/Bill Paxton? I always get them confused lol. Can't remember a thing about it except for them killing people in the shed or something. Guess I need to watch again
