I can't see that lasting more than a few issues either. They need a change of scenery.

Morgan as Negan is very popular and that show desperately needs him right now.

oh I agree They just oversold ricks hatred so much that it will be totally unfathomable to non-comic readers when he elects to not kill Negan.
Non readers are dying for that payoff for what will have been 2 years

Well the Saviors are obviously gonna be pissed. I think Dwight will be conflicted. I mean, if we didn't witness how she died as readers then we wouldn't believe how she died either.

Was looking for this thread Saturday to see if it had been posted. She had a long run, definitely got a better run in the comics than on the show.

It almost seems like they're trying to make the cast of the comic the same as the cast on the show. Maybe in an effort to make it easier to keep up with once the show catches up to the books. If I'm thinking correctly, the only cast differences between the comics and show now are Daryl and Carol, and I'm betting the show takes care of at least one of those during all out war.
I'm not including characters who died during all out war, or the plots after, since the show hasn't made it to that point yet.
ETA: The Andrea death was definitely a shocker. At least they still don't mind killing off central comic characters. If only they could take that up on the show...

Producers are very bullish saying the show won't catch the comics so who knows. And I don't expect Carol to die for a long time if ever and fangirls will riot if Daryl dies.
Morgan is still alive in the show, I think he's passed his comic life, but don't quite remember where he died.

Maybe, but they also reintroduced him way later in the show. He died shortly before Negan showed up in the comics, IIRC. We aren't far past his death.

Kirkman had to throw an SJW speech about minorities into this month's issue. He really lets his politics get in the way of his story sometimes.
