First of all its a great movie. Amazing how some critics hated it. Anyways, I didn't know that Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad, Revolution) played agent Baer.

i swear there's a thread a while back ripping apart this movie and many agreed with it. the only reason i remember is because i had no idea people felt that way.

but my memory has been shite lately maybe i'm thinking about another movie.

While I do think The Usual Suspects is a great film.

This film has some of the worst acting in it considering how great it is.

Even though it is awesome, a lot of people here hate it and talk shite about it because technically, the whole movie didn't happen and was a made up story told by Kent.

Still, it's entertaining and that's all I want from a movie.

it's mixed a bit. baldwin is questionable but i liked spacey and byrne. i thought chaz p. played his part well. and i thought pollack and del toro were good. some of the side characters weren't great. but it didn't look like they had the biggest budget in the world either

It's coming, I can feel it.

ETA: I personally enjoyed the movie even though its nothing but a made up story.

Movie is overhyped and overrated. A movie about a criminal lying to a cop. Aww damn we were duped. So instead of throwing a real twist or mind trick, I'll just have the whole movie be a lie. How clever. Movie sucked.

I'm a sucker for movies about storytelling. Big Fish, Smoke, Adaptation, Usual Suspects... I love movies which show the story-making machinery. Sometimes it's a bit too clever, but it's a hard trick to pull off.

Kevin Spacey sells it, as does Gabriel Byrne. I'm not sure how people think its poorly acted (except Baldwin who, in his defense, has the movies best line, "Hitchcock was a fig.") Dude, it has Pete Postlewaithe being generally awesome, which is always great in my book.

I think its a chic film to bash, for sure.

I think they are having an Esposito movie fest on ESPN 2 or something. Now he's in Mo' Betta Blues. I really need to check out his IMDB.

Esposito's best role is still as Bugs in Bob Roberts.

No it was the Usual Suspects. It was like 10 pages of arguing whether or not the movie sucks or is it one of the best. There are plot holes, but it is not Transformers 2, it's still freaking awesome even with a few. I love Benecio del Toro's so much. I was like 13 the first time I watch and If I hada coffee cup in my hand I would have shattered it at my brothers house.
